10am – 10.30am Welcome and introductions, with Swindon poet and organiser Hilda Sheehan.
10.45 – 12.30 Workshop: the texture of knowing. Exploring the physical world of poetry, with Pat Winslow, writer in residence in a prison. Pat’s most recent collection is Unpredictable Geometry.
10.45 – 12.30 Workshop: changing places, with Mike Woods, who is editor of Tandem magazine and has promoted the work of young writers. Mike’s latest book is Absence Notes.
12.30 – 1.30pm BREAK, for lunch, networking, laughter, and leg-stretching.
1.30 – 2.30pm Lunchbox Readings with BlueGate Poets and Pat Winslow
3.00 – 3.45pm Panel Discussion on Reading Poetry, with Paul Maddern, who started life in Bermuda but has been shortlisted for an award as an Irish poet, Mike Woods, and chaired by Alex McMillen, Managing Editor of Templar Poetry.
4.00 – 5.00pm Poetry Reading with Bath Poets, Reading Poets, & Angela Cleland, Scottish-born and published by Templar.
5.30 – 6.30pm Closing Workshop Session – with all!
7.15 – 8.15pm Poetry Reading with Swindon Poets, Paul Maddern, and Matt Bryden, winner in the Templar Poetry Pamphlet Awards of 2010.
8.45 – 9.30pm Poetry Reading with Mike Woods and Jane Weir, who is both poet and designer and winner of the 2009 Wigtown Poetry Prize.
